All are invited to a November 17th (Thursday) workshop at the Mullenix Bldg from 6:30-8:00 p.m. The topics that will be covered are preparing resumes, collecting information, and using correct resume format. It will be held in the seminary classroom (in the hallway across from the chapel, opposite side from the stake offices).

Substitute Classroom Assistant

$10.18 Hour. Requires High School Diploma or GED, experience working with children, birth to 5 years. This is an on-call position that assists the teacher/teacher aide in the daily classroom routine. Must have flexibility of scheduling and ability to receive assignments as early as 6:30 AM, M-F. Must be able to obtain Washington State Food Handlers Permit.

DPI Specialty Foods, the Northwest’s leading Specialty Foods Distributor, currently seeks a full-time Sales Associate to order and merchandise specialty dry food products to retail grocery chains in the Port Orchard, Gig Harbor, and Bremerton area. Full benefits package available the first day of the month following 30 days of employment.

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Ordering and stocking of merchandise to store shelves. Maintain store shelves to standards of DPI and customer.
Check shelves and backrooms for overstock, proper product rotation, and dates.
Maintain regular contact with existing customers to field problems, concerns, and complaints resolving customer-related issues.
Inform customers of promotional products, price trends and assist in inventory control.
Make company services and products available to customers.
Meet or exceed established sales objectives as assigned.
Communicate information received at store-level regarding mis-picks, mis-selects, unauthorized items, manufacturer defects, product rotation to Customer Service, brokers and area manager.
Keep records and make reports on all phases of activities as required.
Attend all required sales meetings and seminars.
Delivery & pick-up of products and equipment when necessary.
Keep informed of new products and other general information.
Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
At least one year of experience in retail food operations.
Working knowledge of the grocery business.
Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office programs.
Ability to communicate and interact with others effectively in a professional and flexible manner.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
Basic mathematic skills.
Valid state driver’s license, clean DMV record and proof of auto insurance required.
Must pass background and drug test.
